GUARANTEED RIDE HOME PROGRAM

BATMA is proud to partner with the Atlanta Regional Commission’s RideSmart to provide the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) Program to Buckhead commuters. RideSmart makes commuting choices an even smarter option by offering the Guaranteed Ride Home Program.

The Guaranteed Ride Home program (GRH) provides commuters who carpool, vanpool, bike or use transit with a reliable ride home if an unexpected event occurs.  Commuters may take up to 5 trips home or to their car each year.  Commuters must fill out, sign, and return the Guaranteed Ride Home Application and Agreement to RideSmart as well as receive enrollment confirmation before using the service.

Events that are Eligible for the Guaranteed Ride Home Service:

  1. You or your carpool partner/vanpool driver need to leave work early unexpectedly for personal situations (i.e.: being too ill to complete the work day, having a sick family member who needs your assistance during the day unexpectedly); or
  2. You or your carpool partner/vanpool driver need to work mandatory unscheduled overtime so you can’t take your normal commute mode home.
